GOLF COURSE GPS MAP DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS FOR EASYPAR™ GOLF GPS SYSTEM
1. When your Email arrives, save the attachment of the course map that you ordered to your computers “My Documents” folder for transfer to your handheld.
2. If you will be transferring via USB, you will need “Active Sync” software. If you do not currently have “Active Sync”, you can download it (for free) at the Microsoft website. (Microsoft.com)
3. Now plug in your USB cable to your handheld (if you will be using this method to transfer) and refer below as to how to proceed, or instead, if you have an SD card, do not plug in your USB cable and refer below as to how to proceed.
*note:(no “Active Sync” software needed for SD card transfer)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USB TRANSFER
1. You will need to sync your handheld (it should do it automatically once you plug in the USB cable) so you can copy the new golf course file(s). (if you need help on how to do this manually, refer to your handheld user manual)
2. Now from your computers “My Documents” folder, copy the selected file(s) you previously saved from the Email you received and paste it/them to the “EASYPAR Course Data” folder in the “My Documents” directory on your handheld. (To get there, simply pull up your “Active Sync” window : click on “explore” : double click on “My Windows Mobile Based Device” : double click on “My Documents” : double click on “EASYPAR Course Data” and paste)
3. Disconnect the USB cable from your handheld.
4. You are now ready to start using your new course(s) with your “EASYPAR” golf program.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SD CARD TRANSFER (RECOMMENDED)
1. Insert SD card into your computers card reader.
2. Now from your computers “My Documents” folder, copy the selected file(s) previously saved from the Email you received and paste it/them to the SD card. (To do this, simply open up the SD card window and paste course(s) there)
3. Remove SD card from your computers card reader and insert it into your handhelds expansion card slot. (at the very top of the unit)
4. Now take your handheld and tap : “Start” : “Programs” : “File Explorer” : “My Documents” : “Storage Device” then copy the file(s) and paste it/them into the “EASYPAR Course Data” folder in the “My Documents” directory of your handheld.
5. You are now ready to start using your new course(s) with your “EASYPAR” golf program.
